Accessibility

Last reviewed: October 5, 2026

Kelly Ann Garnett wants everyone to be able to use kellyanngarnett.com, including people with disabilities.
We are working to make the site easier to see, hear, navigate and understand for all visitors.

Our standard

Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
These guidelines are the recognized standard for making websites usable by people with a wide range of disabilities.

Where we are today

The site was reviewed on October 5, 2026 using automated checks and a manual review of its main pages.
It partly meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some parts do not yet meet the standard, and we are fixing them.

What already works:

  • A "skip to content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.

  • The page language is set, so screen readers pronounce the text correctly.

  • Pages resize for phones and tablets and can be zoomed.

  • Menu links and icon buttons have text names.

Known limitations

We know about the following issues and are working on them:

  • Button colors. White text on our pink buttons does not have enough contrast for some visitors with low vision.

  • Image descriptions. Many images, including the logos of publications that have featured Kelly, do not yet have text descriptions for screen readers.

  • Headings. Some pages have no main heading, more than one, or use heading styles for ordinary text, which makes them harder to navigate with a screen reader.

  • Form labels. The name fields in the footer sign-up form do not have proper labels.

  • Video. The video on the home page plays automatically without sound, has no captions and cannot be paused with on-screen controls.

  • Link text. A small number of links use wording such as "click here" that does not describe where they lead.

  • Tools from other companies. Our quiz, booking calendar, video sessions and checkout are provided by other companies (Interact, Calendly, Zoom, GoHighLevel, Stripe and PayPal). We have not fully tested them and cannot control how they are built.

The review did not include a complete test with a screen reader or with a keyboard alone, so there may be issues we have not yet found.

What we are doing

  • Fixing the issues listed above as part of a website update now under way.

  • Checking new pages and content for accessibility before they are published.

  • Reviewing the site again after the update, and at least once a year.
